The theory behind Minimum Quantity Lubricants for metal cutting is that a small amount of very high performance lubricant is applied (usually by spray) to exactly where it is needed at the right time.

The component being machined then comes out of the machine clean and dry. Specialised spray equipment is required to apply an MQL and the viscosity of the lubricant must be suitable for the spray system.

The lubricant is usually total loss so there is no machine sump full of fluid to be concerned with.

Delta has a range of MQL’s available for your company to market and sell under your own label and brand.
